The FJM bags feature Miele’s incredible Self-Sealing Collar. The bag’s opening has a spring-loaded flap that immediately closes shut when the lid is opened. This means the person changing the bag isn’t exposed to any of the odors, debris, or harmful allergens contained within the bag.

Another high-tech feature on the FJM 3D AirClean bag is the SoftStructure netting of the bag, itself. The unique design makes the FJM bag impressively strong and yet still flexible. The bag will stretch and expand to fill as you vacuum. But the dense fibers prevent tearing or bursting. The innovative SoftStructure does more than just provide strength and flexibility. You can find generic versions of the Miele FJM bags on the internet and they tend to cost less. However, we tested one of these bags in our own Miele and the result was disasterous. Generic Miele bags SHOULD NEVER be used in your vacuum cleaner. The damage they can cause could completely kill your vacuum motor and using a generic bag will void your warranty.
